Kratom is an Indonesian plant that grows wild in the wet rainforest lowlands of Borneo, often leaning over the banks of the river side, like old fisherman looking for a bite.  This incredible plant has been used for generations in South East Asia as a means of combatting fatigue, muscle aches, severe pain, and even diarrhea.  The plant is a natural pain killer, as well as muscle relaxants, immuno booster - among an assortment of other alkaloids.  Given the vast medicinal properties of kratom, we're seeing an influx of it's use in the United States of America, and other Western countries.  Further, because it mitigates opiate dependency, eliminates opiate withdrawals, and acts as an incredible tool for the purpose of harm reduction , it's efficacy is being established, and growing rapidly.
