A different approach to railways simulation!

Railways Run started with the idea to build a common environment where rail simulation fans can work together sharing real-time status and positions of trains, status of signals, switches and blocks. Using the web, all these informations are shared to all users. The idea is the same of IVAO for the flight simulators. There are users simulating dispatching, others train driving, and the actions of each one influence the others.
THIS PROJECT IS BUILT USING
<p>Scenarios are run on users PC, with a Windows Form client application. Every update of the status of scenario's elements (switches, signals, train positions, ...) is transmitted to the server, where it is updated. Every other simulation that needs to know that status will ask via webservice the server and it will retrieve the information.</p>
