FundBook is an investor portal web application that provides fund services for private equity and real estate funds. This application allows funds to send files such as pdf excel to investors. Context, before using investor portals, the industry was using emails to send files which is less secure and efficient because it is fully manual as opposed to a fully automated investor portal.

FundBook stands out because its functionalities are more efficient, user interface is more intuitive , it is 50% cheaper than their competitors and 20% of profits will be donated to the most voted charities by our clients.

High scalable business - Customer service cost: 1 employee for each 100 funds = EUR 50,000 cost for each EUR 500,000 revenue. This application is fully automated and it doesn’t need customer service but I have added this ratio 1 worker per 100 funds just in case.

 Risks: security breach of confidential information. This risk has been mitigated by complying with the official security guides from Ruby on Rails which is the software used to develop the web application and by auditing the code of FundBook by a third party tech consulting company.
