Contra! has been designed considering the Abuse Mitigation and Transnational compliance teams in mind. As both the teams revolve around TOS compliance issues, it is essential that the functioning across both the teams are well documented and distributed under a single repository.
The Abuse Mitigation team deals with range of TOS compliance issues which may require suspension of the domain names and its associated hosting services. The suspension are not limited to issues such as Phishing, Malware distribution, Spamming , 419 Scam, Child Pornography etc .
The Transactional Compliance team reviews the Transaction issues and accordingly ensures that avoidable chargebacks are minimized.
In a B2C (Business to Customer) environment, a chargeback is directly incurred by us.
As per the current process, the Abuse Mitigation Team needs to manually validate the orders based on their Registration dates and forward the same to the compliance team.
