NeuroParent is a web app designed for parents of neurodivergent kids, offering real-time tools to handle meltdowns, emotional outbursts, and impulsive behavior. It features Crisis Mode for step-by-step support, mood and behavior tracking, social stories, and practical tools for teaching boundaries. Built to be easy to use in high-stress moments, NeuroParent helps you respond with calm, not chaos—because parenting differently shouldn’t mean parenting alone.
NeuroParent is a solo-built, bootstrapped web app created by a parent and UX designer living with chronic illness and ADHD. It's designed specifically for parents of neurodivergent kids who need real-time, practical tools — not just information — to support emotional regulation, meltdowns, and challenging behavior.
The app is built using React/Vite, with real-time feedback from early users shaping its core features. Most users are parents of autistic and ADHD children, many of whom feel underserved by traditional parenting resources and behavior apps that are either too clinical or too broad.
What makes NeuroParent different is that it's built with lived experience in mind. Tools like Crisis Mode and Mood Insights are intentionally non-diagnostic, gentle, and customizable. There's no tracking for the sake of tracking — everything is designed to lower stress, not add to it.
There are some behavior tracker apps or therapy tools out there, but NeuroParent fills a unique space between clinical platforms and parenting blogs. It's not therapy and not just advice — it's an immediate, calming toolset built for real life, in real time.
