Why we called Hygger?
The name Hygger is derived from the Danish word hygge (pronounced "hyuga" or "huga") and means a life philosophy that is built on a homey feel, soulful communication and a sense of security. Hygge describes a range of emotions and feelings that a person experiences from meeting with relatives, a good company or from touching a soft sweater. According to the World Happiness Index, Denmark is home to some of the happiest people on the planet, in which Hygge has played no small role. The Hygge phenomenon became so popular in the world in 2016 that the Oxford Dictionary called "Hygge" - the word of the year, along with two other words: brexit and Trumpism.
I hope that Hygger will make your workplace more cozy and positive, and most importantly - productive!
